After meeting at university in Edinburgh and then a long distance relationship between Kazakhstan and Scotland, Ainur and Ewan were married at the immaculate Gilmerton house. It was a very pretty summer wedding, combining cultures, traditions as well as food and drink from both countries, culminating in a beautiful Scottish sunset.
Esther & Odhran’s Dundas Castle Wedding was just perfect. We loved every minute of it and so did they. We’ve so many beautiful pictures from their day of love, laughter and celebrations (oh and gin too!), here are just a few.
If there’s one thing that stands out from Kirsty & James’ wedding at Aberlady Parish Church and The Waterfront at Archerfield, it’s laughter…..lots of it.
Emma & Tom’s wedding at Dundas Castle was a real delight for us to photograph. They were married on a beautiful summers day in the 600 year old Keep of Dundas Castle, near Edinburgh.
We don’t think we’ve ever come across a more laid back couple than Emily & Nathaniel. There was a whole lot of thought, time & effort put into planning this beautiful wedding at Hopetoun House, along with bringing up two gorgeous children, moving house (at least twice) and changing jobs.
Couples often ask us what our one piece of advice would be for their wedding day. Any guesses? After choosing the right photographers of course!
We were delighted and honoured to be asked to photograph all four of John & Lynne’s daughters’ beautiful weddings. This was the fourth, Kathryn and Fin’s. It was every bit as spectacular as the first three.
We had an absolute ball at this wedding. Callum brought the love of his life Amy over from New York, where they met, to his homeland to be married. A host of Amy’s American friends & family made the journey, as did Callum’s. And boy do they know how to party!
An elegant, stylish but relaxed celebration was the order of the day for Helen & David’s wedding at Gleneagles. Fun, Family, Friends, oh and a Ferrari! When people are having a great time our work is easy. It’s just about being in the right place at the right time. Don’t miss Helen’s amazing moves on […]
As Autumn is in full swing we look back to the Spring wedding of Nicola and Matt at Hopetoun House, one of Edinburgh’s finest wedding venues. There were so many lovely details for us to photograph including the gorgeous fresh Spring flowers from the talented team at Planet Flowers and the fabulous personalised finale from 21cc Fireworks.
Rebecca & Alisdair were married on a crisp December day at Dundas Castle.
Photographing Leanne & Steve’s wedding was a huge joy for us. We’ve known Leanne for a few years now as we photographed the weddings of her two sisters, Valerie (at Hopetoun House) and Fiona (at Mansfield Traquair) where she was bridesmaid to both. This time the roles were reversed. Jackie was with the girls whilst […]
We love photographing winter weddings. And Denise & Lewis’s wedding day was extra special as we’d photographed Denise’s sister Joanne’s wedding a couple of years previously at Hopetoun House, so we knew what a wonderful time everyone would have. Once again, we were honoured to be invited back to capture another chapter in a family’s […]
We were delighted to be asked to photograph Susan & Phil’s wedding day and were particularly looking forward to it as we knew so many of the people there – we’d previously photographed the weddings of two of Susan’s sisters. Such a huge compliment to be asked to cover this wonderful day too. On this […]
We’ve had several comments on the wedding we feature in our latest advert in The Scottish Wedding Directory and on our Facebook profile picture, so we thought we’d show you some more here. Lucy & Alan were married at one of Scotland’s top venues – the 5 ✭ Exclusively Yours – Dundas Castle.
What better way to re-start our blog than with Alex & Daniel’s wedding. You can see our previous post of their Pre-Wedding Shoot here. We were particularly delighted to be asked to photograph Alex & Daniel’s wedding as we’d photographed Alex’s twin sister’s wedding a few years previously. This was one of four weddings we’ve […]
Jen & James’ wedding at Hopetoun House was a colourful Scottish & Welsh fusion with dragons in abundance. It was great fun from start to finish. Our studio is based in a converted stable, attached to Hopetoun House, so we know the house and the grounds extremely well. We see it in all weathers, at […]
We were delighted to see Siobhán and David’s wedding at The George Hotel featured in the current edition of Wedding Ideas Magazine.
Here at last (sorry been a busy couple of months!) is the second part of Nina & Russell’s wedding day story. Thanks to all of the feed-back on part one. Part two has less words and more (and bigger) pictures as requested! And as promised, there’s lots of feathers, crystals, stars and glitter ….
Thanks to everyone who emailed and commented on our 1st blog post. It seemed to create quite a lot of interest which was very pleasing. So to our 2nd post…the first part of an amazing day:
